Most companies today are finding that they have spatial data that they need to incorporate into their intranet and/or Internet applications. This could be geocoding address list, store locations, or end user locations to build store locator applications. They need to display maps and overlay their own data on it. Just look at the explosion of Google, Yahoo and Mappoint mapping services in the industry. These vendors offer expensive services with annual fees and some require per transaction usage fees on top of the annual fees.
A large portion of our clients fall into two general classes: 1) Asset tracking companies around the world that need maps and reverse geocoding, and 2) companies that started out building an application using the Google mapping API and services and now want to migrate off that proprietary platform and unto GIS infrastructure on their own servers. We actively support both of these areas and provide the server tools needed and support integrating map data into our tools to achieve this.
All iMaptools produced products are offered as a site license and include source code and data coverage as appropriate. There are no costly transaction fees and no required recurring costs. We do offer a data update program on a pay as you go basis.

Geocoding Solutions
iMaptools offers excellent geocoding solutions with US coverage. And we are working on extending our solution to work in other countries outside of North America. We also offer a worldwide place name geocoder. We just, Januaray 2013, release a new geocoding engine that is SQL based and runs in a PostgreSQL database as a stored procedure. This means we gt very high performance, typically 50-100 ms or better depending on the hardware when batch geocoding large tables in the database. We also provide a simple PHP wrapper to the SQL geocoder that can be used as an Ajax service for web applications. We currently support geocoding against Tiger data or Navteq data and plan to add support for additional data sources as required.
There are various commercial services, commercial and free products available. The iMaptools' geocoding solution is significantly better than the low-end products and a significantly more cost effective solution than the higher end products. We offer a complete turnkey geocoding solution that will run on your servers.
